September Eagle Forum News & Notes

Just a few of the numerous updates in this week's EF News & Notes:

TEN COMMANDMENTS FORBIDDEN AGAIN. A federal judge ruled in July that Dixie County (a rural county in Florida) has 30 days to remove a granite monument of the Ten Commandments from the steps of the county courthouse in Cross City, where it has sat since 2006. Of course, this was the result of a suit by the ACLU, charging that the monument is a violation of separation of church and state. Dixie County officials said there never has been a single negative comment about the monument from anyone living in the community. The Ledger.com, 7-18-11.
