Just a few of the numerous updates in this week's EF News & Notes:

TEN COMMANDMENTS FORBIDDEN AGAIN. A federal judge ruled in July that Dixie County (a rural county in Florida) has 30 days to remove a granite monument of the Ten Commandments from the steps of the county courthouse in Cross City, where it has sat since 2006. Of course, this was the result of a suit by the ACLU, charging that the monument is a violation of separation of church and state. Dixie County officials said there never has been a single negative comment about the monument from anyone living in the community. The, 7-18-11.

A PRO-LIFE REPUBLICAN PARTY: GIULIANI ADMITS PRO-ABORTION STANCE HINDERS GOP NOMINATION. "I'm simply not that conservative on social issues, and I'm not willing to change just to become president," said Giuliani at the National Press Club in Washington D.C., 9-6-11.
