EAGLE FORUM hosting candidate forum for City Mayor/Alderman



Eagle Forum of Wisconsin - Washington County will be hosting a candidate forum on Friday, February 4, at the West Bend City Council Chambers, 1115 S. Main Street.  The moderator will be Randy Melchert, political analyst, grassroots coordinator and new media specialist for conservative organizations. This forum is designed to be an opportunity for candidates to share their views with the West Bend community, and will provide a brief meet and greet time following the forum.

Agenda:
6:30 PM - District 4 Alderman candidates

7:15 PM - Mayoral candidates

According to Washington County Chapter president, Ginny Maziarka, Eagle Forum is offering this event as a community service to the greater Washington County area.  The forum will be aired multiple times on the West Bend Community Cable channel, reaching West Bend on Charter channel 99,  Washington County / Dodge County / Sheboygan on Charter channel 987, throughout Milwaukee on AT&T uVerse channel 99, as well as online for later viewing.

WEST BEND: Eagle Forum to Host Richfield Trustee Candidate Forum

Richfield, WI, August 27, 2010: Washington County Eagle Forum (www.eagleforumwc.blogstpot.com) will host a forum for candidates for Richfield Board of Trustees on Wednesday, September 8, at 7:00 p.m.

The event will be held at the Richfield Elementary School, 3117 Holy Hill Road, Richfield. Randy Melchert, former state assembly candidate and political analyst, will be moderating the forum. Melchert is a past legislative candidate and frequently appears on Wisconsin radio and television discussing civic affairs.

The format will include an introductory statement by each candidate. Candidates will take turns answering pre-selected questions and will have time for a final statement.

"Voters appreciate the opportunity to hear the viewpoints of the candidates running for the Village Board. This forum will educate voters on the role their village trustees play in the Richfield area, the philosophy of candidates, and ensure that voters make an informed decision on September 14," said Ginny Maziarka, President of Eagle Forum of Washington County.

While no questions from the floor will be taken, residents are encouraged to meet with candidates before or after the debate.
 
The event is free and open to the public.

Reilly, Van De Water lock heads at Eagle Forum event in West Bend

Circuit Court Judges and Washington County Supervisor candidates shared viewpoints and some strong words at a forum at the West Bend City Council Chambers last night. Judge Linda Van De Water and Judge Paul Reilly squared off first, followed by Washington County Supervisor candidates at the forum sponsored by Eagle Forum of Wisconsin-Washington County Chapter. Randy Melchert, former candidate for Wisconsin State Assembly, moderated the event.

Things cooled off and a more amicable tone was set with the Washington County Supervisor candidates, who participated in the second half of the candidate forum. Three of the ten invited supervisor candidates, Robert Adam (inc.) and Michael Bassill, both District 5, and John Bichler, District 7 challenger, shared their platform for accomplishments if elected. Closing remarks will be posted once video is obtained.

Richfield, WI, March 13, 2010: Washington County Eagle Forum will host a forum for candidates for Richfield Board of Trustees and School Board candidates on March 17, at 7:00 p.m.

The event will be held at the Richfield Elementary School, 3117 Holy Hill Road, Richfield. Rep. Don Pridemore (R), 99th District, will be moderating the forum.

The format will include an introductory statement by each candidate. Candidates will take turns answering pre-selected questions and will have time for a final statement.

"Voters appreciate the opportunity to hear the viewpoints of the candidates running for the County Board. This forum will educate voters on the role their supervisors play in Washington County, the philosophy of candidates, and ensure that voters make an informed decision on April 6th," said Ginny Maziarka, President of Eagle Forum of Washington County.

Maziarka invites Washington County/Richfield residents with questions for County Supervisor candidates to forward them to Eagle Forum for possible inclusion in the debate at eagleforumwc@gmail.com no later than March 16.

While no questions from the floor will be taken, residents are encourage to meet with candidates before or after the debate.

EAGLE FORUM hosting candidate forum for COUNTY SUPERVISOR, APPEALS COURT

Eagle Forum of Wisconsin-Washington County will host a forum for candidates for Washington County Supervisors and District II Court of Appeals Judge, March 31, at 6:30 p.m.

The event will be held at the City Council Chambers, 1115 S. Main Street, West Bend.

The format will include an introductory statement by each candidate. Candidates will take turns answering questions and will be allowed conclusion time.

The moderator will be Randy Melchert, former state assembly candidate and political analyst. Eagle Forum is offering this event as a community service to the greater Washington County area. The forum will be aired multiple times on the West Bend Community Cable channel, reaching West Bend on Charter channel 99, Washington County / Dodge County / Sheboygan on Charter channel 987, throughout Milwaukee on AT&T uVerse channel 99, as well as online for later viewing.
District II Court of Appeals candidates Judge Paul Reilly and and Judge Linda Van De Water will be first on the agenda, followed by candidates for County Supervisor seats from the City and Town of West Bend.

Ginny Maziarka, President of Eagle Forum of Washington County, asks Washington County residents with questions for Supervisor candidates to forward them to Eagle Forum at eagleforumwc@gmail.com or by mail at P.O. Box 1145, West Bend, WI 53095 no later than March 20. Questions will be pre-screened for appropriateness and duplication.

No direct debate will be permitted, and no questions will be taken from the floor.
